Dear Parents, as a Community Club, Scone Thistle are as shocked and concerned as you will be with the speed and severity of restrictions on our activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our main priority, as always, is the welfare of our players, members and supporters and as such we are following the advice and guidance of government and the SFA by suspending all training activities with immediate effect.
Obviously things are moving fast and we continue to monitor the situation closely with a view to restarting training at the earliest opportunity - our players need to keep fit and healthy in body and spirit and football is perhaps the best way to do this.
The Club Committee is urgently discussing what we need to do to maintain the operation of the club and facilities over the duration of this disruption and will communicate to all members again prior to the next due subscription payment in early April. As a club, we are able to facilitate changes to subscription fees via our My Club Hub technology. For all concerned this will be the simplest and most efficient method of amending subscriptions as required and we would respectfully ask that as such, you do not cancel your payments to the Club at this time.
